Wandering through India — from the still, whispering waters of Kerala to the high-altitude calm of Chandra Taal in Spiti, from chai-Maggi breaks at 14,000 ft at Spiti, to the golden reflections of Dal Lake in Kashmir — we found not just each other, but something greater:; our lifelong, soul-deep bond with the mountains.
As soulmates in wanderlust, we had a common dream. A dream that belonged to our parents long before it belonged to us — a simple, heartfelt wish to return to the Himalayas, to wake up to pine-scented air, to live close to the sky again. To have a cosy home; amidst the Himalayas.
BougainVilla Cottage is that dream.
Built alongside our 9–5 lives in Delhi, this cottage holds more than our savings — it holds our story. From the warmth of the walls to the textures under your feet, from the way the light enters the room in the morning to the silence that settles in the evening — everything reflects the life we wanted to create, not just for ourselves, but for anyone who walks in.

Set in a serene pahadi village near Mukteshwar, BougainVilla is surrounded by nature, untouched charm, and the mighty Himalayas right at your doorstep. With all the modern comforts inside, and the simplicity of village life outside, it's a blend of everything we love — and we hope you will too.
And before you even step in, there's a small trail of 700 meters— a beautiful walk through the village that leads you home. That little pahadi path.
